April 16, 2021 Covid-19,IN-NEWS

 Dr Mamta Jain- Consulting Psychologist
While so far no exact cause of the surge is known??
The government feels and lays down few reasons
1 Firstly Covid-inappropriate behaviour can be blamed for it.
2 According to the Centre ,that ‘lack of fear for the coronavirus
3 Another reason “pandemic fatigue” may be leading to a sudden spurt in the number of coronavirus infections in few states.
4 or we can label it as, people have gone into a kind of “Covid fatigue”.

We as People are no more following “Covid-appropriate behaviour”, which we should have been following. We have led our guard down.
What is Covid “InAppropriate Behaviour” ?*not following social distancing norms, *avoiding wearing masks,
*going to crowded places.
We all behaved as if the pandemic has gone, which was not the case.
Also, According to aone indian scientist Dr M. Kaneria “there could some Role of Mutation but this cannot be said for sure unless we do detailed genomic sequencing of all the collected samples. Because viruses by nature keep on mutating”.

All-around world experts had been puzzled by India’s lack of a second wave.
The reason behind , why it is happening now?? isn’t entirely clear!!
Again many reasons are waved and raised by different scientists and Scholars , below 4 factors theory model could be involved, like
* first-wave restrictions have been relaxed *people may not be adhering as closely to those that remain.
* Many more transmissible variants are mainly to blame.
*immunity acquired during the first wave is waning. .

Still, no one can say or predict what will happen next.0nly the theory of probability works . But many researchers are optimistic that in countries that get hold of enough vaccine, life could mostly return to normal in around … we can hope in helpless condition. Still we should think , re-think why we are suffering.
