CORONAVIRUS: STAYING CALM IN A CRISIS

A rapidly spreading virus that was not previously known to be scary. But in a crisis, it is important to remain calm. So how do we do that?

When we are faced with an emergency, our body pumps out a stress hormone that helps us to prepare for battle. This makes us more responsive than thinking critically. As a result, we react emotionally rather than positively.

We all know the law of attraction and I know it is hard not to panic but turning our negative thoughts into positive ones will help us not to worry too much and worry. Therefore, it protects you from becoming infected. It is important not to react when you are in trouble but to pay attention to ways to stay calm

It’s okay to worry or worry a little, it will help you to take preventative measures. Staying calm will help you maintain a positive mental state but panic will do you more harm than good.

Ways to stay calm:
Slow down
Slowing down not only helps to persevere but also helps to gather information and develop a focus on making good decisions. Try to break free from the problem, and this will reduce your emotional pain.

Keep a positive outlook
The mind wanders a thousand feet and many of them do not fall when faced with a problem like this. The more your mind wanders, the harder it will be to stay calm. So instead of dwelling on negative events, do what is practical.

Breath
Breathing exercises are the easiest way to calm your complete body. Simply, take a deep breath, hold your breath and then release it through your mouth. Repeat 5 times or until you feel relaxed.

Affirmations
Affirmations help you feel in control of your life and it also helps in remaining calm and not panicking. You can create your own affirmations and can choose to focus on your emotions or even your health. For example: “ I am relaxed and calm” or “I am healthy”
